Family & Friends

Kelson's side of the family...

Kelson's mom died in the spring of 2018, less than a year before Leo was born. We miss her dearly and tell Leo stories of her and share photos of her beautiful, loving, and faith-filled life.

Kelson's dad and sister Maria and her kids live in Hudsonville along with sister Katie and family. Brother Kyle and family live in Florida and sister Kindra and family live in Oklahoma.

Leo is the 11th grandchild on this side!

Jacinta's side of the family

Jacinta's parents live near Cadillac along with her brother Luke and his family and sister Cynthia and her family. Sister Nicole and her family live in Burton.

Leo is the 14th grand child on this side!

Blessed by adoption, extended family...

We have an open adoption with both of Leo's biological parents, his maternal grandmother, and paternal grandparents. It truly has been a blessing. We have all put in the effort, exercised patience, and gently navigated the dynamics of our relationship.

Visits are much more comfortable and enjoyable as we have become more familiar and witnessed the love each one of us has for Leo. He is often overwhelmed (in a good way) by love!

Leo's birth mom lives in North Carolina.

Leo's biological father lives in Lansing, MI with his wife and their daughter.
